The Swiss military wore the Alpine hat while patrolling the Alps because it's impervious to the elements and exceptionally warm. We've made ours from thick Melton wool, lined it with quilted nylon, and updated the style just a bit. Two pull-down earflaps (one hidden inside, and the other on the outside) protect your ears and neck from the cold. 2 3/4" brim. Color is black. 35% wool, 65% polyester. Dry clean. Imported.
